Parent's Corner

As a parent, I know each child is a precious gift from God, and not only my child, but all belong to Him (Psalm 139:13-16). God has given my husband and I the honor of being parents to Kyla and Bubby (Caleb). As their parents, we want to care for them as God cares for us. This is why we chose Tabernacle Christian as the place for our children. We know the Christian teaching they receive at school is the same teaching they receive at home.

 

Shelley and I could never say enough about the teachers and staff at Tabernacle. We LOVE all the teachers and staff. We feel so loved when we walk through the doors every day. They know our children so well and keep us informed to help Shelley and I make their education the best it can be. Any questions we have ever had about our children’s knowledge, skill level, or medical issues have always been answered. The daily updates on the progress Kyla and Bubby make in the classroom is so wonderful, and it warms my heart so much to know they love their teachers as much as we do. As a matter of fact, Bubby cries when I pick him up because he does not want to leave school. That lets us know that he loves school as much as we do. Kyla loves feeling like she is the center of her teacher’s attention. Although there are other children in the classroom, each teacher always seems to make each child feel so special. Kyla has developed a love for reading thanks to Tabernacle. She reads all the time and gets so excited to be able to tell her teachers what she read.

Our entire family loves knowing we are TCS Rams from six weeks old until graduation. We don’t have to worry about transitioning to a new school, making all new friends, being taught a different philosophy, or worrying about the safety of our children.

I could write a ten-page essay on why I love Tabernacle Christian Childcare and Learning Center but I will close with this: Shelley and I are blessed as parents to be part of such a wonderful, caring, loving, and God-fearing school. Psalm 20: 4 tells us the Lord will grant us according to our heart’s desire and fulfill all our purposes. God gave the Wright family our heart’s desire by allowing all of us to be a part of the Tabernacle Christian Childcare and Learning Center family.
